5 Things Windows 10 Does better than Windows 8, Should you Upgrade?
Hey guys! I hope that you must be doing great. As we all know that Windows 10 is released now. So, the question is that should we upgrade to it? How it differs from other Windows including windows 8. In my previous article, Six Reasons Why you should Upgrade to Windows 10 I tried to cover all the new features which are present in Windows 10. Today I am going to tell you how Windows 10 is different and better than windows 8? This post is all about Windows 10 vs Windows 8. So, Let's get started without any delay. Windows 10 is for everyone even the gamers are looking forward to it.
Start Menu vs Start Screen:
The most important thing that is developed in windows 10 is start menu. Yes! you read that right. Start menu is back in Windows 10. Well, its a big and good news for desktop and non touchscreen users. Windows 8 start screen was never handy for peoples. It had many complexions like non-touchscreen users have to navigate through mouse all over the start screen and that is really annoying for them. So, Microsoft always hears the voice of its users. Microsoft decided to improve the start screen with start menu in such a way that it will look like a start menu but actually that should be a start screen. One more thing is kept in mind of Microsoft and that is the ease and comfort zone for desktop and non-regular touchscreen users. Well again, it is a superb feature to overlook windows 8.
Direct X 12:
Windows 10 is just not about beating windows 8 features but it also focuses to get every window out of game. Well! it has to be, I mean this could be the last version of windows so it has to be awesome.
Windows 10 have a superb thing named Direct X 12. Direct X 12 will help to utilize computer graphics and gaming experiences also. The Gamers are going to love Windows 10. According to our sources, the two big companies Intel and Microsoft states that frames rate (Resolution) can be increased up to 50% when we use direct X 12 rather than DX11 or any other alternative thing.
The Cortana:
This is the feature that excites me all the time. This new feature will be beneficial for the users. Cortana is a powerful search and personal assistant. It has a voice like females :p . This feature was available in Microsoft Phones (Windows Phone) but now Microsoft is ready to launch in the windows also.
Cortana can be used to do regular searches in the computer like files, Apps and Web searches also. Cortana is really a cool feature. It monitors your interests and activities. So, it will show results according to your choice and need. It will collect all the relevant date after your query. Cortana is also Microsoft Edge Browser. It searches your dedicated queries on the internet for you automatically. It also supports audio input so you can also talk to your device as usual and it will understand what you are saying. It is really useful and handy for those users who are using tablets or other touchscreen devices where typing is quite irritating and speaking is easy and frequently. For me, it is a great addition to Windows 10.

As we all experienced, windows 8 had only simple authentication ways like pin code, password or Blah Blah Blah. I just want to say that nothing was cool about windows hello before. Another cool and very innovative new feature of Windows 10 is Notifications. It is also termed as Action Center. It is the central place to get all the notifications about all your activities. it is a new feature which is again balanced for desktop users as well as touchscreen users. Everyone is going to be comfortable with it anyway. In this center, you will get all your new emails alerts, new tweets,re-tweets, Windows update or any other security issue. This feature is very simple and handy to all the users.
